Acrylic board is a chemical material, named as "PMMA" and it belongs to polyacrylate, commonly known as "specially
treated organic glass". In the application industry, the raw materials of acrylic generally appear in the form of particles,
plates, pipes, etc. Acrylic is a replacement product for organic glass. Products made of acrylic have the characteristics of
good light transmission, pure and rich color, beautiful and smooth, long service life, and do not affect the use.
Advantages for Acrylic board:

Acrylic boards come in a wide variety and colors, and have extremely excellent comprehensive properties, providing
designers with a variety of choices. Acrylic boards can be dyed, and the surface can be spray-painted, screen-printed or
vacuum coated.
5. Non-toxic
It is harmless even if it comes into contact with people for a long time. However, formaldehyde and carbon monoxide will
be produced when the combustion is incomplete.
PC board is a high-tech, extremely comprehensive performance, energy-saving and environmentally friendly plastic sheet,
mainly made of polycarbonate. It uses co-extrusion technology. It is resistant to neutral oil , high temperatures and weak
acid, not strong acid, not alkali resistant, and needs to be coated with UV. It is currently a commonly used plastic in the
world. The materials have incomparable advantages over other materials (such as glass, plexiglass, etc.).
Advantages for PC board:
1. Impact resistance
The maximum impact force of PC endurance board can reach 3kg/cm, and the specific gravity is 1.34g/cm³, which is 200
times that of ordinary glass and 8 times stronger than acrylic board. There is almost no risk of breakage.
2. Transparency
Excellent lighting, light transmittance as high as 75~89%, and its transparency is comparable to glass.
3. Weather resistance
The surface UV agent (anti-UV) absorbs ultraviolet rays and converts them into visible light. It can be guaranteed not to
fade for many years outdoors.
4. Flame resistance
Endurance board itself does not spontaneously ignite and is self-extinguishing.
5. Heat resistance and cold resistance
Within the test range of minus 30℃ to 130℃, it will not cause deformation and other quality changes.
Differences between Acrylic and PC board:
1. Heat-resistant, temperature-resistant and weather-resistant
PMMA softens easily when it reaches 70 degrees, while PC softens easily when it reaches 120 degrees, so PC is more
heat-resistant and has a wider range of working temperature applications.
2. Impact resistance, smashing resistance, strength resistance index
With the same thickness, the impact resistance strength of PC is 30-50 times that of PMMA. PC boards starting from 6 mm
thick are bulletproof materials, and PC boards with 3 mm thickness cannot be broken by ordinary adults with a hammer.
3. Flame-resistant and fire-resistant
PC is a flame retardant material. It is a Class B flame retardant (internationally UL94-V2 level). It is one of the self-
-extinguishing plastics and is not easy to burn, while PMMA is not flame retardant.
4. Environmental protection
PC boards are environmentally friendly plastics, but some physical properties of PMMA cannot be met.
